Here I showcase hand-picked examples of my best work. They’re not exhaustive, but give you a good taste of my approach to research and writing. If you’d like to learn more about how I can help, feel free to reach out to me.
An in-depth industry reportTo write this report, I surveyed hundreds of C-suite global security leaders and interviewed CISOs and CSOs from Spain, Latvia, Finland, UK, Estonia and others. The report provided my clients with new insights on how to start a conversation with their prospects. . . Read the full report here

Lesson LearntUnderstanding pain points isn’t enough to reach busy prospects because. . . One of the fascinating insights I uncovered in creating this report was: Different business leaders can want the same things for entirely different reasons. For example, one security leader wanted to gain better threat intelligence to prove how much businessvalue security operations was adding to the company. Whereas another leader wanted better threat intelligence to make a case for more investment in security. Yet another leader wanted the same thing to ensure all her employees were protected. Telling the same story to all three groups was not likely to work.
Rebranding the companyOne of my employer’s brand was chronically under-loved. I took it as a personal challenge to redesign the entire brand and bring it more in line with the company’s other more successful brand, ‘Chief Wine Officer’.It is yet to be implemented, but it was greatly appreciated. You can see the brand deck here.

Lesson LearntDon’t wait for others to take the first step because. . . I learnt that having a vision for how things ought to be done is useless unless I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is. So I did. I wanted to show the full potential of the brand to my employer. I learnt design on my own, and combined this new skill with my storytelling experience. Within 6 months, I built an entirely new corporate identity for our brand, which was received with many ooh’s and aah’s. The rebrand may not be ultimately implemented. But it started a serious conversation in the company about how we could do it better. That was my aim. Goal achieved.
Thought leaders interviewsI love picking the brain of people with bright ideas and strong opinions. I have a knack for drawing out the best from my interviewees through an inquisitive approach. Here are some of the articles that came from interviews. Interview 1, interview 2, interview 3.

Lesson LearntThe best information on any subject is found in the people who . . . . . . Practice their discipline or trade day in and day out. Through active interviewing techniques, I was able to rapidly understand complex topics directly from experts. Combining these insights with my copywriting skills, I was able to persuade busy prospects, sceptical prospects, and even indifferent prospects. The important thing was not just finding vital information, but understanding how it applies to people’s lives.
